Leah Wise
Founding Attorney

Leah was born and raised in Primera, Texas, and graduated from Harlingen High School in 2008. Her journey toward practicing law began at the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Communication with a Concentration in Women's and Gender Studies.

After obtaining a Doctor of Jurisprudence from St. Mary's University School of Law in 2016, Leah set out to build a new kind of legal practice — one that would truly serve the underrepresented communities of Texas’s Rio Grande Valley. She founded her firm that same year with a vision to empower women in law. National acclaim came shortly after, when Leah got a record-setting settlement in 2020. 

Today, Leah proudly leads the largest woman-only law firm in the Rio Grande Valley, now representing clients in every major city in Texas. Leah continues to grow her legal practice while maintaining her commitment to Latina empowerment through scholarships and mentoring programs.
